- Charlotte Werner Ovard has been a Braille Transcriber/Translator for the Granite School District - Special Services - Vision Department since 1986 and was certified by The Library of Congress in Literary Braille in June of 1996 - and yes, the picture is an old one. The purpose for this site is to assist the student, teacher, or transcriber in rules, formats, and available technology in the study of Braille, textbook preparation and production, and to serve as a memory aid/jogger for Braille transcribers and users. A "Quick Reference Braille Rules Guide", along with Nemeth, Slate, and other Braille Charts are included on this site as ready resource materials.
